CKCC has participated in this program for many years. Judy Rott, the coordinator of this project for CKCC, is shown with the many gift boxes which she delivered to the Operation Christmas Child collection point in Madison on Sunday, November 23. Sunday Worship Service: 10:00 a.m.
Read the Bible Through in 2008 Monday, December 1Ezekiel 39, 40 I John 1 - 2:11
I John 1:9 - "But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong." Confession is supposed to free us to enjoy fellowship with Christ. It should ease our consciences and lighten our cares. True confession also involves a commitment not to continue in sin. We wouldn't be genuinely confessing our sins to God if we planned to commit them again and just wanted temporary forgiveness. We should also pray for strength to defeat temptation the next time we face it. Life Application Study Bible, Tyndale House Publishers, Inc., Wheaton, Illinois.
